- I'm a lifelong athlete and have been a women's basketball fan since 1979, when my father began taking me to college games. I fell in love with the sport and became a rabid fan - particularly of this young coach named Pat Summitt - around the 1984 Olympics. I still follow the Lady Vols like a cult member, and I love the college game. I am a fan of the SEC and Pac-10 in particular. I also like the WNBA. I was a founding fan of the Seattle Storm, but now I am a Sparks season ticket holder, and I appreciate many players throughout the league. Basketball is a year-round commitment for me. I check out club teams in the summer and in the winter, I go to as many high school and college games as possible. I've been a strength and conditioning coach for several high school basketball teams. I've lived in Oregon, Seattle and Los Angeles, and have a Bachelor's Degree in English and a Master's Degree in Physical Education. I have been a newspaper reporter and personal trainer. The second picture in the article link is Sherbert going through 2 players on Boo Williams at Nike Nationals. Number 32, in the gold uniform, is Elizabeth Williams, one of the top players in the 2011 class. The other player, number 33, is Andrea White.
Typical Sherbert move, she doesnt go around the defense she goes through it.
Cal now has two of my favorite players from the past couple of years in Clarendon and now Sherbert for 2010.
