Grinding toward a break

Tournaments and preconference play wrapping up today and tomorrow, with plenty of great performances on display......

Today's results:

#2 Notre Dame rallied to beat Marquette in overtime, 91-85.

#3 Louisville fought off Air Force, 62-50.

#5 Mississippi State thrashed UNLV, 103-63, which included 61 first-half points.

#11 UCLA trounced Fordham, 67-30.

#19 Texas A&M routed Hawaii, 103-59. Khaalia Hillsman shot a school-record 12-12 for the Aggies.

#22 South Florida held off Dayton in OT, 93-87.

Chattanooga edged Florida, 65-60.

USC held off UTRGV, 71-64.

Purdue remained aggressive to top St. Mary's, 70-60.
