Tyler Summitt resigns as Louisiana Tech coach for "inappropriate relationship"

The rumors started circulating yesterday. If you follow me on twitter, you saw that I hinted at it.

Today the news became public: Tyler Summitt resigned as Louisiana Tech coach for having an "inappropriate relationship."

Now a news source is reporting something else I had heard, that Summitt has impregnated the player. They choose not to name the young woman, and I won't do so either.

The ramifications of this tragedy are mind-boggling. Tyler Summitt grew up in front of us, and was cared for at times by some of the best athletes to play the game. Many of us consider his mother the greatest coach of all time.

If you're the praying kind, it's a good idea to pray for everyone involved in this situation, and beyond.
