Parity everywhere

What a day.

So many ranked teams playing, and so many upsets. There is parity in every corner of Division I basketball.

Upendings:

Louisville whipped #18 Duke, 65-48. So do the Cardinals re-enter the top 25 tomorrow, and is Duke out? They Blue Devils have the longest streak in the rankings after UConn and Tennessee.

Utah rallied from 19 behind to edge #21 Cal, 84-79.

#23 Michigan State routed #16 Northwestern, 74-51.

Villanova toppled #24 DePaul, 64-60.

More results:

#1 Connecticut 75, #22 South Florida 59.

#2 South Carolina 83, #20 Missouri 58.

#3 Notre Dame 88, North Carolina 54.

#5 Ohio State 90, Rutgers 78.

#7 Mississippi State 80, Arkansas 55.

#8 Maryland 76, Iowa 56.

#9 Stanford 71, Colorado 56.

#10 Kentucky 64, Georgia 53.

#11 Oregon State 59, Oregon 45.

#12 Tennessee 79, Auburn 52. It was an emotional win for the Lady Vols, with Pat Summitt watching. They practiced yesterday with alumni Candace Parker, Michelle Marciniak, Glory Johnson and Izzy Harrison.

#13 Texas A&M 53, LSU 35.

#14 Arizona State 63, Washington State 45.

#17 Oklahoma 68, Kansas State 58.

#19 Florida State 75, Georgia Tech 69.

Wish I could have seen this game: NC State 78, Pitt 76 (3OT).

Purdue beat Indiana, 63-53, to make Sharon Versyp the most winning coach in Boilermaker history.

George Washington got by Dayton, 62-61.

Michigan 93, Minnesota 86.

Wisconsin dominated Penn State, 82-62.

Right now I'm at Galen Center, where USC leads #15 UCLA at halftime, 27-24.

All scores.
