The WNBA and New York Liberty announced earlier today they had agreed to suspend Isiah Thomas' application for ownership of the team indefinitely.
Thomas remains president of the team.

Thomas had defended himself a few weeks ago, despite a court ruling against him in 2007 for sexual harassment.
Some are wondering if this was just a nice way of cushioning outright rejection.
I'm wondering what took so long.
