I went to an exciting game today: CSUN downed Hawaii in overtime, 75-72.

St John's put away Seton Hall, 69-48. It was their eight straight victory, and in the process, Eugenia McPherson surpassed the 1,000-point mark.

14-5 Sacramento State defeated Weber State, 111-104, and bettered the Big Sky Conference scoring record again.

UTEP used a strong second half to beat Tulane, 86-72.

Nebraska bested Iowa, 80-67.

Saint Mary's slipped by San Diego, 71-68. It was the Torero's second loss in a row.
