Eastern Conference game three, da Lynx, college news

Tomorrow's Eastern Conference finals, game three match up:

Fever at Sun preview.

Win or go home: Fever will put it all on the line.

Katie Douglas stands in the Sun's path. She is on the other side now.

Erlana Larkins is making the most of her return to the WNBA.

Western Conference champs:

Even-keeled Lynx eye a second title.

Lynx practice report for today.

But the Lynx get no respect from Google.

Forward Seimone Augustus was stopped in suburban Minneapolis the other day for having an air freshener hanging from her rear view. Minnesota Coach Cheryl Reeve called it racial profiling. But after talking with the city's police chief, Augustus is ready to move on. Interestingly, she said "Both parties were angry about what happened and it's a move on. We're settled and we're moving on from here." So the police were mad about being called racial profilers? Interesting.

NCAA:

The defending champions Baylor Bears know their way to next year's Final Four without a map.

The Gonzaga team has inspired its home city of Spokane, Wash.

New Michigan Coach Kim Barnes Arico has injected some freshness into the program.

Kansas is glad for the preseason hype surrounding the team.

UCLA has shifted gears toward the Princeton offense.

Notre Dame Coach Muffet McGraw is working to blend old and new talent.

Georgia has a top-flight senior class.

Players:

Lady Vol freshman Jasmine Jones is impressing her coaches.

Florida Gulf Coast's Anthi Chatzigiakoumi has her swagger back.

Learning about Blue Raider freshman Caya Williams.

Georgia's Jasmine James hopes for an injury-free season.

Augustus and her coach playing the race card is not only bogus, if she's looking for a way to alienate the fan base then she's right on target.
