Entering.....the last week of regular-season play

Tonight's results:

Hey, the Shock won again - defeated the Silver Stars 80-70. And what's up with San Antonio? They seem to be falling apart.

The Liberty rallied for a win over the Mystics, 75-68, behind Cappie Pondexter's 30-point explosion. And Trudi Lacey still has a job.

The Sky clobbered the Mercury, 86-55. Diana Taurasi didn't play, of course.

The Sun squeaked one out over the Storm, 60-58. Seattle didn't play Sue Bird or Lauren Jackson, due to injuries.

Tomorrow, Indiana is at Minnesota.

This is the last week of play before the playoffs begin.

If PHX is going to sandbag for the draft pic they should at least do a better job of faking trying to win.

Pretty embarrassing to them and the league. Commissioner should step in on this and at least take a stand with the Mercury ownership group.

I would be really, really pissed if I were a Mercury season ticket holder.

Yep. It would be interesting to know if the hardcore Mercury fans already drank the koolaid and are looking forward to the Griner / EDD sweepstakes next year.

I don't buy it. PHX has been a leader in the league. To have this Jekyll and Hyde thing go on is a problem. Might work in Tulsa or DC, but not PHX with their history of excellence and winning.
