NCAA investigating other club ball programs

The NCAA already banned two prominent club ball programs from July competition, and now they are investigating numerous others for possible violations.

Wow.

I was pretty shocked a couple of weeks ago to read this article on a local team: http://www.sfweekly.com/2012-06-20/news/elite-youth-basketball-league-travel-teams-oakland-soldiers-basketball-boys/ Am I just naive? Does this explain why some teams in areas with crumbling schools (e.g., Oakland) have fabulous gyms?

That's what it's become about, is sponsors. Pretty much every club team has a sponsor these days. That's one of the reasons I love Cal Sparks is because they're on top of the West Coast without a major sponsor.
