Hoopfeed interviewed Renee Montgomery about her USA Basketball experience this week.

Brittney Griner made a big impression at USA training camp......and the experience seems to have made an even bigger impression on her. This is an impressive statement for a 20-year-old:

“I needed to get another year under my belt,” she said. “I needed to work on different things and get stronger. Get more mature mentally.”

Too bad more people don't have those kind of metacognitive skills.
