Breanna Stewart and her Philly Belles routed the Boo Williams 16U team today in the latter's tournament at Hampton, Virginia.

The tweets that I've seen around the country indicate NCAA coaches have had a busy and productive weekend. Notable: UCLA director of operations Pam Walker is on the recruiting trail this weekend, in the absence of a coaching staff. She has been with the Bruins for 22 years.
Speaking of coaching: Kim Hairston will be one of Joanne Boyle's assistants at Virginia. Does this mean Charmin Smith won't be moving to the East coast?

News reports indicate Tornadoes were all around us yesterday and all missed us ! We got alot of Hail but never saw any of them 1st hand. Two teams in tourney had to leave hotels due to damage. We Thank the Lord this morning Everyone ok

Hard to imagine anyone got any sleep on Saturday night in North Carolina.
Glad they are all ok. I think that CS Gold lost in final 4 to a team from Bollingbrook Ill.--a lot of talent on both teams.
Cal Swish won their 4 games this weekend at Vanguard Univ., in Costa Mesa. 3 easy wins and one game closer than the final result, 53-36 indicated with WCP Red.
There was a team with some nice talent on it from Colorado, CBC Black17 in a different pool. I think many of the players are from Highlands Ranch HS in Colorado. If they show up again in So Cal they are a must watch. Oregon Clutch players also looked ok. Mater Dei coach Kevin Kiernan coaches a girls team from the club he is involved with, called Open Gym(for boys and girls). I think the teams name is Basketball U. Definetly not a team of elite players, but they all hustled.

Kevin Morrison is the former Cal assistant coach that was hired as a UW last week... While he has the same name first name as the new head coach, the reference is to an entirely different story (e.g. Joanne and Kim Hairston). Looks like Anon 1 and 2 are well versed in recent coaching arrivals and departures. LOL!

I'd recommend people who comment use the old tenent of journalism to comment to the lowest common denominator. In other words, assume people have no idea what you're talking about, even when you think it's obvious. So for people like me who obviously missed the UW assistant coach announcement, we could be on board with the first comment.
