Expect the unexpected

Today's results:


The Dream thrashed the Mercury, 95-72.

 

The Sun upset the Liberty, 78-62. 


The Valkyries topped the Sky, 73-66.

 

The Fever defeated the Wings, 88-78.

 

The Sparks outlasted the Storm in 2OT, 108-106.

 

WNBA team news:

 

Indiana is 4 games above .500 for the first time in 10 years, and they still have room to improve.

 

Connecticut rookies offer a hopeful glimpse into the future, but the team is a long way away from consistency. 

 

WNBA player news:

 

A'ja Wilson is focused on improving her team - not getting MVP. 

 

A strong work ethic and Western African roots drive Sonia Citron.

 

Other news:

 

For the second game in a row, a WNBA game was interrupted when a fan threw a sex toy onto the court.
