Fever, Mercury nab playoff spots

Today's results:


The Storm bettered the Sun, 71-64, to win the series.


The Mystics held off the Wings, 90-86.


The Aces made work of the Sky, 90-71.


The Mercury put away the Dream, 74-66.

With two opponent losses tonight, the Fever clinched their first playoff berth since 2016.........Phoenix also clinched a spot. There is only one more playoff nod available - who will get it?


Seattle was fined $5,000 for violating the league's media policies after their weekend game.
