Winning in spades, and a couple of trades

Today's results:


The Sun outlasted the Sparks, 69-61......the game, in Boston, was sold out.


The Liberty took down the Wings, 94-74, for their seventh straight win.


The Storm downed the Mystics, 83-77.

Lynx at Aces


WNBA trade and signing news:


On the last day of the trade deadline......


The Mystics dealt Myisha Hines-Allen to the Lynx for a second-round draft pick next year.


The Mercury traded Sug Sutton to the Mystics for the rights to Swedish guard Klara Lundquist.

 

The Storm re-signed Olympic star Gabby Williams.

The Sun committed to a practice facility in the near future.

Expectations are high for the Aces' reserves after an inactive trade deadline.


Temi Fagbenle is close to return for the Fever, after back-to-back injuries.
