Indications

This season, two things seem to be true, as can be seen in tonight's results:

Some really good teams are getting beat by even better teams. There are more differentials between teams now than the have's and have-not's.

Examples from today:

No. 4 Louisville 68, No. 22 Florida State 49

No. 15 Kentucky 52, No. 25 Missouri 41

No. 24 Texas A&M 69, Auburn 67

North Carolina 81, Virginia Tech 69

Some teams that did well in preconference play are stumbling in conference.

Example from today:

Purdue 64, Minnesota 53

Domination:

No. 8 NC State is a perfect 19-0 after their 54-51 win over Clemson.

More results:

Indiana 70, Michigan 60

Duke got their first ACC win, 66-52 over Wake Forest

Vanderbilt 80, Ole Miss 68

Virginia 74, Pitt 57

Arkansas 72, Alabama 61

Northwestern 58, Nebraska 54
