How it stops, nobody knows

The Fever are still winless.

The Sparks looked to be back to their regular selves.

The Mercury are now riding a five-game winning streak.

The Storm looked to have drank some of the bad Kool-Aid that LA had Thursday when they whooped them.

We just don't know how this season is going to end yet. And it's intriguing as heck.

Today's game results:

Marissa Coleman's three-pointer lifted the Liberty over the Fever, 78-75.

The Sparks handled the Sky, 77-59.

The Mercury held on to beat the Aces, 72-66, for their fifth straight win. It's the most consecutive wins they've had since 2015.

The Dream outlasted the Storm, 67-64.

Basketball Hall of Fame induction:

Chamique Holdsclaw returned to where it all started.

Holdsclaw has a bigger story to tell.

College coach news:

Missouri State coach Kellie Harper's contract has been extended through 2022.
