Upsets, and upsetting upset

Upsetting upset:

#15 Missouri took down #4 South Carolina, 73-84, in a controversial game. A'ja Wilson fouled out after 19 minutes of play, and coach Dawn Staley was ejected after receiving her second technical foul for not subbing for Wilson in the allotted time. Staley had issues with the officiating:

Staley said she texted Sally Bell, the SEC coordinator of women’s basketball officials, before the game to complain that two of the officials — Metta Roberts and Luis Gonzalez — worked last year’s game at Missouri, when she was also upset about the whistles.

Staley said she had to protect her players from name-calling by Missouri fans, for one, who allegedly referred to her and the team as "thugs."

The game was emotional.
