Brutal cuts continue

Today's transactions:

So many painful cuts today.

Can't stand it.

WNBA power rankings:

The league has the Sparks first, Lynx second and Mystics third. Stars in 12th.

That's an even worse rankings list than ESPN's.

Trade:

The Stars traded Jazmon Gwathmey to the Fever for their third round pick next year.

WNBA team news:

The Fever are beginning a new era this season.

The Liberty look to change the pace the the story line this year.

WNBA player news:

Storm point guard Sue Bird has returned to practice saying her knee feels good.
