As the world swirls

Playoffs round two preview:

Mercury vs. Liberty

Sky vs. Dream

The WNBA has brought stars together to promote the postseason.

The new playoff format cut short the season of legend Tamika Catchings.

WNBA player news:

Tamika Catchings competed until the very end.

Statistically, the WNBA has given the MVP edge to Nneka Ogwumike.

Sylvia Fowles does't let criticism from Cheryl Reeve get to her.

Shavonte Zellous and Brittany Boyd hung out with fans at the NBA store in NYC today.

Protests:

Apparently Marissa Coleman has taken some heat for her part in the Fever's Anthem protest last night. She wrote a letter in response.

I wish people would acquaint themselves with the Constitution.

An Indianapolis columnist says the protest exposed a racial divide.

ESPN's Mechelle Voepel says players should be applauded for taking a stand. I wholeheartedly agree.

College news:

The NCAA and WBCA will join forces this season to raise money for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.

North Carolina coach Sylvia Hatchell has received a contract extension through 2018-2019.

Lin Dunn is helping Kentucky hoops.

What would Syracuse coach Quentin Hillsman do if his team staged a protest?

Ali Patberg promises passion in her return to Notre Dame.
