More Lynx shirt fallout

Minneapolis Police leaving Lynx game in protest of shirts:

The Minneapolis police chief said officers shouldn't have left Saturday's Lynx game to protest the team's T-shirts.

Mayor Betsy Hodges blasted the police union representative for his "jackass" remarks.

The Lynx didn't wear their protest shirts at today's game in San Antonio.

Today's lone result:

Minnesota routed the Stars, 81-57.

Player news:

Dream veteran Angel McCoughtry has taken rookie Bria Holmes under her wing.

Tiffany Hayes is a highlight-maker for Atlanta.

Coach news:

Mercury coach Sandy Brondello is a mother first.

The Fever are back at Bankers Life Fieldhouse for a three-game homestand.
