Fighting hard for those last few spots

The last six auto bids were attained today, but not without some fights:

Jacksonville edged Florida Gulf coast, 56-54, for the Atlantic-Sun title.

UNC Asheville pulled out a 2OT win over Liberty, 64-62, for the Big South Championship.

Robert Morris rallied past Sacred Heart, 56-51, for the Northeast title.

Central Arkansas rolled by Sam Houston State, 69-62, for the Southland Championship and their first trip to the NCAA Tournament.

Green Bay routed Milwaukee, 64-32, for the Horizon League title.

Missouri State topped Northern Iowa, 71-58, for the Missouri Valley Championship.

So now we await Selection Monday.

I posted my picks last night. Since FGCU wasn't an automatic qualifier, I'd put them in, and then Montana State.

Three hours ago, the NCAA tweeted that the seeding is complete by the Selection Committee, and they are now putting teams into brackets.

The committee has been challenged this year because several regular-season winners didn't take the tournament championship.

Team news:

What a time to be alive in Middle Tennessee.

BYU is prepared for the postseason.
