Tournament primer

Tournament news:

All four teams have arrived in Tampa.

The Final Four is familiar territory for all of them.

The FF has a Philly flavor to it.

South Carolina

Tiffany Mitchell and her WNBA idol Dawn Staley have lead the Gamecocks to the Final Four.

Staley is a Philly coaching rarity.

Staley is working to keep players focused on the goal. She is excited.

South Carolina has found different heroes on different nights.

The Gamecocks have no Final Four pedigree, but they're long on confidence.

Notre Dame

Taya Reimer is a calming voice for the Irish.

Notre Dame takes a different attitude into the Final Four this year.

The Irish "offensive machine" awaits South Carolina.

A multi-player attack fuels the Notre Dame offense.

The Irish are playing under no pressure.

Maryland:

Second-generation stars give the Terps added experience.

Laurin Mincy savors the Final Four sendoff.

The Terps are creating a buzz on campus.

Can the Huskies be tamed?

Maryland's biggest accomplishment might have been giving up their cell phones for 72 hours last weekend.

The Terps basically turn into the Village People after games (and at Selection party shows!).

Connecticut:

Other teams are still chasing UConn at the Final Four.
