Heading into the final stretch

#16 Princeton edged Yale, 56-50, to remain unbeaten.

#2 Connecticut pummeled Tulane, 87-39.

Northwestern rallied furiously to beat Michigan, 63-62.

Cal Poly slipped past Long Beach State in overtime, 58-57.

Hawaii nipped Cal State Fullerton, 54-53, to take their ninth straight game.

Western Kentucky is 21-4 after taking Marshall, 74-60.

Green Bay routed Milwaukee, 79-62, to go 20-4.

Oklahoma humbled TCU, 77-54.

Illinois defeated Ohio State, 66-55.

Pacific took care of BYU, 86-82.

Oklahoma State handled Iowa State, 60-48.

Texas downed Kansas, 73-64.

CSUN whipped winless UCSB, 60-21.
