Delle Donne is the total package. Skills and Character. I can't believe that Geno Auriemma didn't put her on the short list for the Olympic Team. Wonder if her leaving UConn had anything to do with it.

I'd love to see Delaware go deep in the tournament. GS

I was surprised she was left off the Olympic team too.

If the team was being coached by anyone else, she would be on the team! I can't believe anyone would be surprised by this.

Maybe. As it is Griner is the only college baller on the list. There is a school of thought out there that Delle Donne can't play defense with the big girls. I don't agree. That said a bunch of other good collegiate ballers didn't get invited either.

I continue to have trouble getting over Griner's Kermit Washington moment so I would have taken Elena before Griner in any case. Call me old fashioned I suppose.

Probably their loss as it seems Delle Donne is centered enough she can take it or leave it. Too bad for us actually as I want to see her play. GS
