Lynx take game one, 88-74

Minnesota started slowly, but they ignited in the fourth quarter and put Atlanta away:

For three quarters Sunday, the Lynx struggled against visiting Atlanta.

Then the fourth quarter began and everything changed. The Lynx went on a 13-0 run -- holding Atlanta scoreless for more than four minutes -- in beating the Dream 88-74.

The victory, before 15,258 fans at Target Center, gives the Lynx a 1-0 lead in the best-of-five WNBA Finals.

Rebekkah Brunson, a 6-2 forward, had a big game for the Lynx with 26 points and 11 rebounds. Seimone Augustus had 22 points and Lindsay Whalen 15.

Angel McCoughtry had 33 points for the Dream, 19 in the third quarter, while former Lynx guard Lindsey Harding had 20.

The Lynx were so fired up in the fourth quarter. I couldn't tell who was more hyped.

Some are saying that McCoughtry taking over in the third quarter didn't bode well for the rest of the Dream, and it's why they were cold in the last period. What do you think?
