Should Diana Taurasi win Sports Illustrated's Sportsperson of the Year award the same year she was arrested for drunk driving? I want to know what you think again.

when life hands you lemons, make lemonade. that's what dee appears to have done. she made a *huge* mistake, but never shied away from taking responsibility for her actions.
she didn't pull a wronged spouse out of the woodwork to 'stand by her' all the while flashing her shiny new big ring as a token of her atonement.
nope, no phony pat answer press conferences. she faced all questions head on and honestly.
glad to see her on-court accomplishments recognized. and glad she seems to have put her personal life in order.
Yes. She made a serious mistake, but I think we all have at one time or another. She should be recognized for her brilliant season. This award is not Sports Citizen of the Year, but to recognize athletic performance. I vote for Dee.
