Riquna Williams has been barred from the Aces after being arrested last night on felony domestic violence charges. She faces nine counts of battery.


Williams made a court appearance today, and was released.

A former Vanderbilt player has accused a former assistant coach there of sexually abusing and assaulting her.

The Liberty rallied back from 18 down to edge the Storm, 86-82.


The Aces downed the Sky, 107-95, despite a career-high 37 points from Kahleah Copper.

A long Jordin Canada three lifted the Sparks over the Fever, 79-78.

Team USA edges Spain to win U19 gold medal

U19 World Cup:


Team USA hung on to edge Spain, 69-66, to claim the gold medal.


Today's results:


The Mystics clamped down on the Mercury to end their losing streak, 84-69.


The Liberty scored a league record 44 points in the first quarter en route to beating the Fever, 101-83.

Another game-filled weekend day

Today's results:


The Sun handled the Dream, 86-78.


A'ja Wilson's 35 points paced the Aces over the Lynx, 98-81.


The Wings bested the Sparks, 98-84, behind huge performances from their "big three."


The Sky snapped a losing streak with a 90-75 win over the Storm. It's a franchise-record ninth straight loss for Seattle.

To even get consideration from a free agent like Jewell Loyd, Chicago has work to do.
