Aces strike first over Mercury

WNBA Finals news:


The Aces rallied to top the Mercury, 89-86.


Reserve guard Dana Evans came up big for Las Vegas.


Kahleah Copper tied a first half scoring record.


Game 2 is Sunday.


WNBA commissioner news:


In a press conference prior to the game, Cathy Engelbert vowed to repair player relationships after Napheesa Collier's comments.


Engelbert denied some of the comments attributed to her, but said "I have to do better."


She also said she won't resign.
