The U.S. downs Nigeria, and we wait..........

Exhibition results:


The U.S. grabbed a win over Nigeria, 93-62. Team USA looked better, shot better and played more purposefully.


Both Nneka and Chiney Ogwumike were on the Nigeria bench today, cheering on sister Erica. Nigeria declined to comment on whether or not the two sisters are on the country's Olympic team. The roster is to be finalized tonight. And we're waiting.........

Today's results:


The Aces dominated the Wings, 95-79.


The Sun ran past the Liberty, 71-54.


The Fever downed the Dream, 79-68, for their third straight win.


The Storm handled the Mercury, 82-75. The dub gives Seattle the No. 1 seed in the Commissioner's Cup; they will play Las Vegas.


The Lynx defeated the Sparks, 86-61. It's the seventh straight dub for Minnesota.


The regular-season now takes an Olympic break. The All-Star game is Wednesday, and post-Games, the Commissioner's Cup will take place Aug. 12. The WNBA season will resume Aug. 15.
