Officiating "calls" a special kind of person...someone with enough ego to genuinely believe you can do a good job, but with sufficient humility to accept that the reward comes long after the game when the losing coach wonders "Did I even tell Blue 'Good job'?".
Kudos to the officials, all sports at all levels, who can find that delicate balance.
A sad story becomes sadder. Let's hope there's something to be learned here.
